‘I completed the birth refresher course with Brigid and can’t recommend it enough. I had been told my baby was measuring big and had been recommended induction but completing this course allowed me to move from a place of fear to empowerment and to have the birth I wanted. I ended up having the most incredible birth at a stand alone birth centre (rather than the hospital).

I remembered the advice and skills from the course, breathing through contractions allowed me to actually enjoy the sensation of birth without the need for pain relief or any interventions. I felt like my baby and I were working together and I visualised this, knowing that with every surge I was closer to meeting her.
